Bridges Alliance Church is a church for every generation. From energetic kids’ programs to meaningful opportunities for adults and seniors, we’re a place where every generation finds a home. We value the wisdom of experience and the joy of new beginnings. Together, we learn, worship, and grow in faith as one united family.

You can summarize the ministry of Jesus this way: He lived out the TRUTH, POWER, and LOVE of God so that others could follow Him into God’s family and thrive. That’s our “definition” of a disciple of Jesus, so it’s our strategy for daily living, too.

The TRUTH of the Bible reveals Jesus, the Living Word, to us and His life and God’s Word is our source for how to live life God’s way.
Knowing & obeying God’s Word is fundamental to all true success. (Theologians call that “orthodoxy and orthopraxy.”)
(Mtt. 7:24; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; James 1:22)

We experience God’s POWER in two ways:

There are three realities to LOVE:

Connecting people with God & each other by living out the truth, power, and love of Jesus so others can follow Him into God’s kingdom and thrive... That’s our driving motivation and that’s what Jesus started. We aim to multiply that and we envision a work of God in the Susquehanna River Valley to see many people come to know and live for Jesus. That’s why we aim to build bridges in everything we do.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion. Here are our 8 Core Values:
As part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, we enthusiastically hold to our denominational Statement of Faith and find it unifying and empowering for living the Christian life with other Christians.

The church is God’s family in Jesus (Rom. 12:5)- a family of friends!

Know it & show it (James 1:22).

Discipleship is spelled
F-R-I-E-N-D-S-H-I-P (Mtt. 28:18-20).

Everything God gives us He means for us to share (Mtt. 10:8).

The things Jesus did He means for His people to continue doing by the powerful presence of His Spirit living in them (John 14:12).

The Christian life is only possible by walking in the Spirit of God. And living by the Spirit means thriving (Rom. 8:11).

God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Our posture towards God and one another should always be characterized by humility no matter the task or position we’re in (Php. 2:3).

That’s right- living in connection with God and each other is downright FUN (John 10:10)!! (You did know that Jesus got the reputation of being a “party animal,” don’t you? See Luke 7:34)
We love kids at Bridges!
Church is supposed to be a family of friends, right? You probably want your kids to make friends, learn together, and have a great time at church while taking their first steps of trusting God. We do, too!
When you arrive, check your kids in at the welcome kiosk in the lobby where one of our kids ministry volunteers will help you out. Children worship with their parents for the first half of the morning and then follow their teachers to the Pre-K room down the hall, or to the Elementary rooms downstairs.
(All our teachers and helpers are background checked and child safety trained to ensure we take the best care of these precious little ones.)
Youth Group for 6th-12th grades meets on Saturday nights. Check the calendar for more info.

Not only did Jesus welcome little children and instruct his disciples to become like little children, they were young- just a few years older than children! Jesus built his kingdom into the lives of 12 young men (and several women who followed him, too!) and then empowered them to continue his ministry. They were the “wrapping paper” for the gift of the gospel of Jesus that he entrusted to them! Just like Jesus, we want to build into our children, youth, and young adults the ministry of the kingdom that Jesus’ Spirit empowers his people for. There’s nothing “little” about the Holy Spirit filling God’s children.
“Worship” means to give God what He’s worth- that’s everything! The arts have a way of joining emotion, intent, knowledge and belief (plus story-telling) with sensory experiences. Being created in God’s image means people are creative. In fact, the first chapter of the Bible is a song (Gen. 1). At Bridges, we love music and worshiping God through songs. Music builds bridges for people to connect with God and each other in deep ways. We pray that you will sense God and connect with His Spirit deeply as we worship Jesus. May we fulfill what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 14:25: “So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, “God is really among you!”

“Jesus came not to be served but to serve...” (Mark 10:45).
Hospitality and service are the language of evangelism. Our leaders aim to give you access to Jesus by giving you access to their lives.
Remember, discipleship is spelled F-R-I-E-N-D-S-H-I-P!
